The Role
We’re looking for a Test Delivery Manager who will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the successful execution of testing activities. Your responsibilities will encompass risk mitigation, quality engineering, and the delivery of valuable outcomes aligned with client and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy:
  • Take ownership of test delivery, creating the strategy, and leading its implementation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to align project-led test management activities with business IT goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the portfolio and address risks and issues with mitigation plans.
  • Risk Management:
  • Proactively identify risks related to delivery and commercial aspects and develop mitigation plans.
  • Test Management:
  • Lead the portfolio test management function by implementing comprehensive test strategies at the portfolio level and detailed plans at the project level.
  • Provide coaching and direction to QA resources, focusing on process alignment, continuous improvements, innovation, and next-gen technology implementation.
  • Create detailed test plans and schedules, oversee test execution, and manage corrective actions to ensure high-quality IT portfolio delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Conduct regular monthly/quarterly governance meetings with stakeholders to present project progress, discuss concerns, and communicate risks to leadership.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Manage external vendors and relationships to ensure quality strategies and plans, as well as fulfillment of commercial obligations.
  • Resource Planning:
  • Be responsible and accountable for demand forecasting, resource planning, and onboarding related to Quality Engineering and Assurance (QEA) activities.
  • Metrics and Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish and maintain metrics to track testing progress, defects, and overall quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Team Management:
  • Track the team’s performance and provide guidance to realign them with project timelines if deviations occur.
  • Experience in managing multi-location teams is essential.
  • Domain Knowledge:
  • Experience in SAP and utility domain QA engagements is an added advantage.
  • Establish and maintain metrics to track testing progress, defects and overall quality
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness

Required Capabilities and Experience:

  • Extensive team management capability – address risks/issues, solution strategy and test reporting
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Assurance (QEA).
  • At least 2+ years of experience as an Onsite Test Delivery Manager.
  • Strong collaboration skills with client leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
