JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering field or equivalent levels of experience and education are required.
• Experience in Assembly/Test lines for Quality Engineering, Materials Engineering, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and manufacturing software support systems (e.g., JMP, SAP).
• General understanding of the back-end operations for component assembly, and component test operations.
• Strong knowledge of worldwide business processes and the ability to take a business process approach in global networks.
• Familiarity with product quality standards and a deep understanding of business units’ direction and technical background.
• Has a depth of understanding of process integration matters and can give accurate total priorities of yield and product qualities to direct reports.
• Ability to effectively manage and implement action items from both tactical and strategic perspectives using an agile approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Drive collaboration between the Burn/Test Key Equipment Group (KEG) and Sites to integrate new technologies and issue resolution.
• Coordinate continuous improvement efforts on a global scale to implement industry-best-in-class methods for manufacturing and equipment processes.
• Lead the deployment of best-known process methods (BKMs) and the latest process technology across our global manufacturing network.
• Working with global peer groups to optimize manufacturing performance and align this across the manufacturing network
• Work with peer groups and customers to benchmark these metrics to improve performance in the network for BIC processes.
• Analyze and solve manufacturing processes and develop a system to optimize the process to increase overall efficiency for improved yield, quality, and cost
• Facilitate the transfer of process BKMs and new technology among sites throughout our manufacturing network.
• Manage projects from definition to deployment in High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) production.
• Take ownership of key business processes such as the Process of Record (POR), Failure Mode Effective Analysis (FMEA), and other relevant areas.
• Provide technical expertise and support to both internal and external customers.
• Mentor, lead, and/or collaborate with global teams as required.
• Identify and determine the origin of deviation, isolate causes, and provide solutions with systematic application of 8D, Total Process Control (TPC), Problem Solving, and Decision Making.
• Develop new process transfer packages, procedures, training, and documentation.
• Occasional travel required.
