The Training Advisor is responsible for providing guidance to Site Training Coordinators and to support them in their roles, by delivering key training initiatives and expertise, which create a consistent approach to learning.
This role shapes the L&D strategies of Silver Fern Farms and delivers on them by implementing these strategies with Training Coordinators at sites, who ensure that our training efforts contribute to organisational growth, employee development, and our overall success. The Training Advisor travels on a regular schedule to visit sites in the SFF network, as well as additionally as required when sites have an increase in training requirements.
Day to day, this position trains our Site Training Coordinators on how to deliver complex learning solutions, administers our Learning Management System, and coordinates training & development approaches to meet legislative and customer requirements (MPI, Health & Safety, EU audits etc.)
This role, done well, means Silver Fern Farms’ employees are able to do their work safely and with confidence.
We are ideally looking for someone who is based in the North Island, however, we’re also open to considering applicants based in other locations if they are the right person.
