Role: UI Developer with Web Accessibility
Location: Toronto
UI Developer with Web Accessibility experience
Min. 8+ years of experience working as Front end (UI) developer
Web Content Accessibility experience

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Hands on experience with Version control/Devops tools(Git, Jenkins, Sourcetree, etc)
Experience with assistive tools like JAWS/NVDA
Unit testing framework knowledge
Have Leadership, Analytical and Communication skills
Agile Trained
Worked with Highchart and ParsleyJS libraries
Knowledge on AE

Design, develop, unit test and support front-end web applications that are responsive and cross-browser compatible. Create reusable components in JavaScript/jQuery/ReactJS.
Participate in functional and technical designs
. Collaborate with UX architects on web accessible page designs.
Experience working with UI specifications and defined style guide
. Experience in Requirement Analysis and Estimation.
Ensure coding, testing, debugging and implementation activities are completed as required
. Ensure web accessibility guidelines (WCAG) are met.
Competencies: Digital : HTML5-CSS3, Digital : ReactJS, Web Application Accessibility Standardization and W3C WAI
Essential Skills: Strong technical skills, with at least 8+ years of development experience in front-end Design and Development.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, JSX, Typescript, node.js, Bootstrap, API’s, NPM.
Hands-on experience with integrating website development and API/web services
Proficient with web accessibility (WCAG AA compliancy), Soap/XML, REST/JSON
Familiar with using browser developer tools
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to align to changing priorities in multiple projects
Ability to work both independently and collaborate within a team
