At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you’ll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.
We are seeking a passionate User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team! As a UX Designer, you’ll join our diverse and growing design system practice, as we continue our modernization journey across the company. You will represent the voice of our users, championing their needs every step of the way throughout the product development lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of proven experience building digital products.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Knowledge of design systems and component-based design.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant academic or personal projects.

• Ability to translate user needs into intuitive and functional designs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexible, with a growth mindset.
• Thrives when working both autonomously and collaboratively.
