We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our mechanical department based at Derby.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU’LL BRING SOME OF THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE WITH YOU:

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector
  • Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 (required)
  • Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years
  • You must own your own tools

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Carry out general servicing of vehicles, repairs and MOT checks
  • Complete air conditioning services as and when required
  • Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
  • Undertake road and ramp testing
  • Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition
  • Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
