DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Video AI Algorithm Senior Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the research and development of advanced algorithms focused on person detection, tracking, and recognition in video conferencing environments. You will work on understanding backbone networks, optimizing networks based on business requirements, and staying up-to-date with cutting-edge computer vision (CV) research to reproduce and implement the latest findings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years work experience as an engineer
  • Strong theoretical understanding of image detection, tracking, and recognition algorithms.
  • Proficient in deep learning principles, specifically RNN (Recurrent Neural Networks) and CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks).
  • Experience with AI model training and deep learning architecture.
  • Solid software development skills, particularly in Python or C++.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with the latest trends in image processing and computer vision.
  • Experience with implementing and optimizing AI algorithms in real-world applications.
  • Knowledge of video conferencing systems and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation.
    This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. To be considered, candidates need to be local to Raleigh or willing to relocate on their own.
