VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

CityKidz is hiring for a part time contract position starting September 2024 until December 2024, with potential for extension. CityKidz is seeking a positive, motivated, energetic, and confident individual who can assist with Volunteer intake and placement for our programs. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, but also independent work, adapts well to change, and detail oriented.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Manager of Programs, and functionally supervised by the Coordinator of Volunteer Development the position of Volunteer Development Administrative Assistant is a part time employee and a member of the Programs Team. The Volunteer Development Administrative Assistant is responsible to carry out the administrative objectives of all CityKidz Volunteer Development outlined by the Manager of Programs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND DEMONSTRATED SKILLS:

  • Comfortable working in a faith-based organization.
  • Commitment to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Related education and experience in community service work, volunteer coordination or volunteer recruitment
  • 1 year of experience administrative, and/or training volunteers preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent organization, task, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, training, and personal management skills. Must have initiative and the ability to follow through with little direct supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams, staff, and volunteers.
  • Strong passion for the mission of CityKidz.
  • Valid G Class driver’s license and access to transportation.
