Description:

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people’s and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
At any one time, around 23,000 people in Norfolk and Suffolk are receiving care and attention from the Trust. JOB DESCRIPTION/PERSON SPECIFICATION

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with an emphasis on team work.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Data entry, typing, scanning, uploading to clinical systems and other general administrative office duties.
  • Sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Call handling, face to face liaison with service users, carers and colleagues.
  • Monitoring and ordering of stationery and other procurement requests.
  • To undertake any other appropriate tasks as requested by the Matron, Clinical Team Lead, or Senior Administrator to meet the needs of the service.
  • Previous experience of Trust IT system would be of benefit but not essential as all training will be provided.
  • Previous experience of all Microsoft packages is desirable in the successful candidate.
  • Some reception cover will be required but full training will be given.

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, conscientious and flexible candidate to support the changing needs and demands of our ward and support with a wide variety of administrative functions.
We encourage and support further training and development for our admin to support them to grow in their roles and progress within the Trust.
