An exciting opportunity has arisen on Redbrook Ward for a part time Ward Clerk 30hrs per week to join our team.
The successful candidate will work to support the wider team and nurses to deliver excellent, safe and effective care within a friendly and supportive environment.
We are looking to recruit someone who understands the importance of confidentiality, has good communication skills and able to manage their time efficiently as an independent worker but also value being part of a well-established team.
The successful candidate will work closely with all staff both on the ward and within the hospital to provide support for nursing and medical staff, throughout the day.
The role of Ward Clerk is vital for the smooth running of the department and you will be responsible for supporting the nursing team with non-clinical tasks.. You will also be responsible for ordering stores and managing the storeroom and also to ensure that the department is kept well stocked. You will need to be able to use a computer and communicate with all members of the team.
You will be able to create a culture of continuous improvement, where patient welfare is at the heart of all you do.
