TECHNICAL SKILLS: (CERTIFICATION, LICENSES AND REGISTRATION)

  • Food hygiene, security, H&S experience/qualification preferred.
  • Awareness of aviation security preferred

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting into the Process Manager, Planning & Supply Chain, you will be responsible for optimizing the operation, employees and processes of the warehouse/inventory and looking after Goods, receiving; storing, picking & packing and distributing goods internally to achieve short- and long-term goals and KPI’s. You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating the flow of all materials from the warehouse and/or Wash & Pack to production areas, so that all raw materials and equipment reach their destinations safely, on time, in the right quantity and in the most cost-effective way, according to internal customers’ expectations.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the Goods Receiving and warehouse/inventory activities to run the business effectively and in line with warehouse budget
  • Overall accountability for the receiving and Warehouse sections (Heathrow North & Radius Park covering Food and Equipment), including recruitment, training, development, and performance management
  • Maintains ERP systems up to date (transactions and maintenance), adheres to warehouse mapping
  • Responsible for the quality control of incoming goods/material and taking appropriate actions including returns to suppliers
  • Collaborates closely with Ordering and IDS to ensure stock levels are constantly monitored in line with Days on Hand data, minimum/maximum stock levels are adhered to, and targets and applicable business KPI’s are met
  • Records and reviews material waste and deadstock and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly
  • Leads and drives continuous improvement of the warehouse section
  • Responsible for keeping all Goods Receiving and warehouse/inventory
  • Activities in line with unit finance regulations and audit criteria, including tax and customs
  • Communicates with internal & external customers on irregularities and takes corrective actions
  • Pick and pack orders for internal customers (Dispatch, Assembly (Make & Pack / Pick & Pack / Wash & Pack), Hot Kitchen, etc.)
  • Flexible in working in different area of the warehouse operations (GGHN & Radius Park)
  • Collaborates closely with Warehouse, Wash & Pack and production areas to ensure floating stock is monitored and replenished on time
  • Responsible that targets and applicable IDS KPI’s are met
  • Overall accountability for the warehouse/IDS section/staff including recruitment, training and development, and performance management
  • Adheres to legal/ HACCP compliance across health and safety, food safety, security, and gateOPEX (in-house operational excellence program) and reports all incidents/accidents.
