Pay Rate: £32,000 up to £35,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 over 7 - Rotational shift (6:00am until 14:00pm and 14:00pm until 22:00pm). This will include working weekends

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including the storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.
Responsibilities:
- To manage and oversee the daily, weekly and monthly warehouse operational process and people requirements through effective leadership whilst supporting the Site Manager in achieving site KPI’s & cost budget objectives
- Responsible for meeting all customer requirements and ensuring operational performance is at required levels to meet company and customer expectations.
- Analyse and understand the health and safety related risks for our associates, take action to reduce or eliminate these risks according to a prioritised plan.
- Take responsibility for managing and running a safe operation and driving a Safety-First Culture with all individuals in the operation by applying and improving the Safety Standards.
- To lead a continuous improvement culture in line with H&S guidelines, as well as site procedures and processes.
- To promote engagement across the contract
