POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the management and training of personnel to ensure the efficient completion of tasks assigned. This role is expected to be hands-on in all warehouse functions including the loading and unloading of product. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient shift performance * Supervise, train, and develop warehouse team members, including new hire and ongoing training * Oversee inventory management and product movement using proper equipment and techniques * Maintain a strong leadership presence on the floor throughout the shift * Monitor employee performance, providing coaching, recognition, and corrective action as needed * Partner with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals * Ensure a safe, clean work environment and compliance with all safety procedures and emergency protocols * Perform other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Lift or move up to 100 lbs. * Standing, walking, and moving frequently QUALIFICATIONS * Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (with or without assistance, as applicable) * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members * Ability to read and understand safety policies and procedures * Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen * High school diploma or GED required About Us When you join Alside, you are part of a leading exterior building products distribution business serving residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets.
