Job Responsibilities :
The Web Developer is someone with extensive experience in architecting, building, and deploying containerized web applications for the Cloud. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable, reliable, cost-efficient, and secure cloud-based applications to meet the needs of Razer ID’s stakeholders and customers. The candidate will also need to collaborate with UI/UX designers to perfect RazerID web site aesthetics, understand and manage the interdependencies of a large microservice environment, in order to ensure the applications are able to operate efficiently and reliably.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based web applications on AWS.
• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability in AWS.
• Update and maintain automated deployment pipeline scripts for Jenkins.
• Collaborate with team members including product managers, UI/UX, and other engineers to deliver high-quality Razer brand web site.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Mentor and coach interns and/or junior engineers to improve their technical skills.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
• Participate in an agile development team (daily standups, fortnightly sprints, requirements grooming, etc).
• Standby and be available for troubleshooting of production issues if escalated by SRE team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies
• Development experience with AWS services such as S3, RDS, Elasticache, and DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of web stacks, libraries, frameworks, and tools such as Webpack, Redux, Flux, etc.
• Experience with server-side scripting languages such as PHP or Golang will be an added advantage.
• Experience with code automation testing using Selenium Library with Robot Framework
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Drone.
• Understanding of software development principles such as Agile and SCRUM.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
