Job Title: Web Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Web Developer and Mobile App Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web application using the Yii Framework. As a Mobile App Developer, you will be responsible for developing mobile apps for our website to work on Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop complex applications using PHP, Javascript, Python, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
- Ensure the performance, quality, and security of APIs
- Identify and address technical debt, code quality, and performance issues
- Maintain and improve existing APIs
- Work with project managers to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in API development
Qualifications:
- Must be able to reliably commute to our location in Dubai, Business Bay
- Authorization to work in the UAE is a prerequisite
- 3+ years of rapid web development, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks and jQuery
- Proven experience as well as a solid understanding of object-Oriented Design and Programming
- Solid knowledge and experience working with the PHP Yii Framework
- Reasonable understanding of Linux Operating-Systems such as Ubuntu/Debian
- Prior experience in App-Development
- Proven solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/GUI design to relational database structures such as MySQL
- Direct experience developing embedded software on a microcontroller such as ESP32
- good English skills are a must
