This position is primarily responsible for the creation and management of new wellness products to benefit the Health Plan’s employer groups and individuals. Works under the direction of Manager, Wellness Programs.
Assigned duties are implemented in a manner appropriate to the segment of the market being targeted. Will spend a significant portion of time in the field with limited supervision. Interacts with all levels of Geisinger Health Plan Marketing, Health Services and Sales staff

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelors degree in Health Education, Health Services, Exercise Physiology or related field is acceptable.
Minimum two years experience in health screenings, wellness programs, health education programs or related field preferred.
Knowledge/background in employee wellness programs required. Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA), the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Laws preferred. Experience in an insurance or occupational medicine business preferred. Experience in disease/case management, managed care and health care preferred.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license for travel to company locations required
