PROJECT SCOPE:

• Full refurbishment of the ground floor
• Demolition of the existing patio
• Careful removal and setting aside of floorboards prior to insulation
• Installation of insulation between existing joists
• Reinstatement of existing floorboards
• Installation of a new WC, including new soil and waste pipe connection to underground drainage
• Replacement of the staircase from second floor to loft
• Formation of a structural opening between the living room and dining room

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman on residential refurbishment projects
• Strong knowledge of demolition, insulation, timber flooring, drainage connections, staircase installation, and structural alterations
• Ability to read drawings and manage site activities efficiently
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
• Valid First Aid qualification
• Good communication and leadership skills

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to oversee and work hands-on on a ground floor refurbishment project. The role requires both site supervision and active participation in the works.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervising and coordinating site activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Working hands-on alongside the team where required
• Managing trades, deliveries, and day-to-day site operations
• Reporting progress to the project manager/director
