Responsibilities:

Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for an enthusiastic Working Student (Werkstudent) – Catalog Operations EU to support us with keeping our catalog metadata clean.
In this position, you will be part of the EU Catalog Operations team and gain valuable insights into content ingestion and catalog management for Audible content on various platforms, including Amazon and iTunes. You will predominantly support the Metadata department of the Catalog Operations team and work on ensuring completeness, accuracy, and suitability of all metadata in our ingestion workflow. Through quality assurance and catalog maintenance, you assist your globally operating team in delivering highly valuable products to customers. You will feel comfortable in this role if you enjoy working with numerous partners in a fast-paced environment, take pride in delivering accurate results, and have a passion for technology and media, specifically spoken word audio.

As a Working Student, Catalog Operations EU, you will…

  • Support Content Coordination with all day-to-day tasks, such as review and assignment of title deliveries from internal and external partners, ingestion of titles into CMS (Content Management System), preparation of titles for downstream-teams to work on, with primary focus on German, French, Spanish or Italian-language products
  • Communicate issues (e. g. erroneous [not up-to-spec] metadata, audio or image files, QC inquiries etc.) back to partners and re-ingest corrections
  • Maintain title tracking with due diligence
  • Regularly check upcoming products pipeline
