Description

WORKING STUDENT - RECEPTIONIST

In the Netherlands - Amsterdam
Simon-Kucher Amsterdam is looking to strengthen our Front Office team! Are you an organizational talent with a hands-on mentality? Do you enjoy variety and thrive in a dynamic environment? Then we are looking for you! We are seeking someone who is eager to learn and energized by solving problems. You are a proactive individual who takes initiative and thinks ahead. This is a part-time role for 8-16 hours per week, with key responsibilities outlined below, though they may vary depending on your experience and strengths.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE AN IMPACT:

  • Front Office Tasks:
  • Welcoming visitors, both clients and applicants, making them feel at welcome and at ease.
  • Ensuring smooth operations by placing orders and managing inventory effectively.
  • Handling incoming calls and emails in a professional manner, maintaining clear and timely communication as you are the first point of contact.
  • Facility Tasks:
  • Representing the office in tenant meetings and fostering positive relationships with our vendors.
  • Enhancing the workplace by identifying and implementing opportunities for optimization.
  • Contributing innovative ideas to strengthen and improve the workplace culture.

Your profile:

  • You don’t need prior work experience (though frontoffice or hospitality experience is a plus).
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • You are service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively in a team but are also self-starting.
  • Your proactive efforts shape a professional, efficient, and welcoming environment for everyone.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate confidence, maturity, and professionalism.
  • You are looking for a part-time job, for example next to your studies.
  • You have basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

We offer a role in an ambitious yet friendly team that values your growth and curiosity, encouraging you to proactively share your ideas and perspectives. This position is ideal to combine with your studies or to make the most out of a gap year. Our well-equipped office on Amstelveenseweg offers fresh fruit, a shared lunch at noon, great coffee, and comfortable workspaces.
