  Alexander Symonds is a professional Surveying and GIS consultancy based in Kent Town, Adelaide, with strong coverage across metro and regional areas of SA and Victoria.
  They specialise in all forms of surveying including land division, civil and structural construction surveys, high precision engineering and dimensional control surveys, 3D laser scanning and UAV services.
  Their work spans various sectors including mining, property, energy and construction, and we remain at the forefront of the surveying industry in both technological and consultancy practices.
  Due to growth they have an opportunity for a technical specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide innovative 3D Scanning and Digital Engineering solutions to meet clients needs
• Provide expert technical advice to clients and staff
• Involvement in development of quotes or tender processes
• Technical Project Management ensuring ongoing communication to ensure delivery on time and within budget and resources
• Process raw data and analyse and integrate into plans and deliverable formats
• Involvement in the development of process improvement with relation to data processing and data management
• Assist surveyors in use of a variety of modern surveying equipment and surveys

Experience and Qualifications required:

• Degree or Diploma qualification related to 3D Engineering or Surveying as recognised by the Australian SSSi
• Proven working history at an equal senior responsibility level
• A strong understanding of geodetic principles, datums and precise GNSS positioning
• Exposure to GNSS / IMU data processing
• Project Management experience
