Description:

Our client, an established and growing company located in Hamilton, has an immediate requirement for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity, responsible for ensuring the overall success of a large AR Team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position is ideal for candidates who have proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Please note that this is an in-office position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable team by providing effective training, guidance and leadership
  • Play an active in the monitoring and reporting of accounts receivable on a monthly basis
  • Assist with the budget process annually as well as provide support for variance analysis
  • Assist with year-end audits
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance standardizing processes to generate in-house efficiency
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience coupled with Post-Secondary education in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
  • Candidates must have proven leadership experience, having effectively led a mid-sized team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential in order to effectively interact with employees, supervisors, and customers
  • Strong analytical and time management skills are required for success in this fast-paced environment
