About the SET AO role: Indooroopilly State High School welcomes applications for this Full-Time Temporary Administration Officer (AO3) locally known as Senior Executive Team Admin Officer (SET AO). As the SET AO your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • DP Support
  • Operational event support - plan, order supplies, set up and pack up
  • School photos, Yr 7 & 10 immunisations, year 12 grad, awards, open day
  • Exporting OneSchool/DayMap report
  • Timetabling
  • Enrol students into IM classes
  • Working in future timetables as requested by BB/DW
  • Editing spreadsheets for future timetabling purposes
  • QParents admin
  • Accept LowDoc approval requests
  • Point of contact for parents/carers
  • Approve QPAO accounts
  • Exam Timetables
  • Create in OneSchool, enter data as needed, update documents for communication purposes
  • Support with reporting (e.g. setting up, finalising, editing)
  • QCAA EAs (once weekly for 5 weeks in Term 4 only)
  • Accept deliveries, check off list of materials delivered and reorganise per exam timetable

Admin support

  • Student Enquiries including ensuring sufficient forms available
  • Photocopier - ensure paper, toner and waste, report faults/maintenance
  • Other tasks as required by Executive Manager, Business Manager
  • Daily supervisions back up

About the Finance Role: Indooroopilly State High School welcomes applications for this Full-Time Temporary Finance Officer (AO3) position. As the Finance Officer your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide a range of financial administrative activities and operations including data entry, maintenance of financial registers, computing and clerical support for the effective operations of the office, in accordance with legislative, policy and procedural requirements
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the school’s financial activities, including identifying problems, negotiating with program managers, conducting research, seeking advice and recommending solutions.
  • Undertake routine activities including reception (telephone and counter enquiries), maintaining school records, arranging appointments, correspondence and general administration.
  • Assist the Business Manager with the management and coordination of resources, asset management and facilities, including regular stocktakes, scheduling and managing maintenance activities and facility hire
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. school and departmental staff, parents, students, and community members); provides information and advice in line with school policies and/or Principal directives
  • Apply day to day independence in determining work schedules and sequences within a well-defined environment with regular managerial supervision.
