The Position

APPLICATION SPECIALIST - DUTCH/GERMAN SPEAKING (M/F/D)

Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions. Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters. Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily customer-centric activities. Troubleshoots problems with Roche’s lab diagnostic equipment or software applications and recommends corrective action. Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.

We are looking for an Application Specialist (m/f/d) for the Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC), based in Mannheim (Germany)*. On a daily basis, we support numerous customers from seven countries and provide remote, telephone and email support for inquiries, technical questions and complaints regarding our Roche analytical systems. Responsibilities:

  • You will take inquiries from Belgium, Netherlands and Germany customers and Roche field representatives and support them with their questions.
  • You identify the causes of product problems, work out solutions and initiate appropriate measures.
  • You carefully document your activities in the supporting customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • You conduct customer and employee training sessions in the local language or in English.
  • You prepare information on product changes and support the transfer of information to the customer and the exchange of knowledge within the organization.
  • Occasionally, you will support field service colleagues during on-site service visits to the customer lab
