ABOUT THE ROLE

This company has supported people from the armed forces, lawyers and recruiters shift career into Retail as a Retail Area Manager. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and profitability of 5 retail stores within a designated area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management: Recruit, train, and performance manage staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure high performance, excellent customer service, and a positive work environment.
Store Operations: Ensure efficient and effective operations of multiple retail stores within the designated area, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Sales and Profitability: Drive sales and profitability targets by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs. Monitor and control expenses to achieve financial objectives.
Customer Satisfaction: Foster a customer-centric culture by ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained across all stores. Resolve escalated customer issues and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, employment laws, and company policies. Implement loss prevention measures and maintain accurate records.
