Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Assistant Community Manager, you will support the General Manager in effectively managing and operating the community to enhance the resident experience and property value. You will help the property operations run smoothly by greeting visitors, answering phone calls and performing general administrative tasks.
Compensation: $21+ per hour, depending on experience
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client’s property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client’s directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong writing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Certifications in property management or related disciplines are a plus but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time in an office environment
  • Able to safely lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds
    Work Location: Bridgeview at Hayden Ferry Lakeside, 140 E Rio Salado Pkwy Tempe, Az 85281
    Work Hours: Tuesday - Saturday; 3p – 11p

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in managing the business affairs of the community and ensuring compliance with governing documents and policies
  • Coordinate community maintenance projects and assist in oversight of Receptionist team
  • Enter and process work orders for maintenance requests from homeowners as needed
  • Assist in follow-up on the status of work orders to ensure timely resolution and closure upon notification by vendor or General Manager
  • Receive and respond to resident phone calls; redirect as appropriate
  • Facilitate amenity access including acceptance/transmittal of fees and distribution of access cards and other equipment to homeowners as required by community needs
  • Update new/existing owners’ information forms in the appropriate system daily or as required
  • Sort incoming mail and courier deliveries for distribution
  • Assist in creating the weekly community newsletter
  • Assist in planning and organizing community events
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as community association governing documents and policies
