A BRIEF OVERVIEW

Supports and maintains cloud infrastructure and services. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that align with the organization’s needs. Configures and manages cloud resources, ensures system reliability, and supports the deployment and operation of cloud-based applications and services.

What you will do

• Collaborates with development teams to optimize application deployment processes, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Under direct supervision, monitors cloud infrastructure and services for performance, availability, and security. Identifies issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Develops basic scripts and automation tools to streamline cloud infrastructure management and deployment processes.
• Assists in the implementation of disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Advises in less complex capacity on best practices to protect cloud resources and data.
• Compiles cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures, creates technical documentation, and shares knowledge within the team and wider organization.
• Communicates internally about the latest cloud technologies, services, and best practices.
• Actively contributes to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects, by sharing ideas, providing feedback, and contributing to the overall goals and objectives of the team.
• Assists team members with tasks, timelines, and deliverables, including collaborating on projects, sharing information, and ensuring effective communication within the team.

For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

• 6 months’ work experience (can include graduate work)
• Strong programming experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Data Engineer Professional Certificate preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
