    We are currently seeking an experienced BMS (Building Management System) Project Manager to join our client in Sydney. As the BMS Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of BMS projects within the designated timeframe and budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure the delivery of high-quality BMS solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead BMS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and define deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and successful delivery.
  • Prepare project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate updates to stakeholders, and ensure effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, technical specifications, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of required equipment and materials.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project requirements and client expectations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during the project.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the BMS or building automation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS systems, including HVAC, lighting controls, energy management, and security systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • PMP certification (preferred).
