Description:

Job Purpose:
RWS are looking for a business analyst to join one of our key development teams. The Helix team designs and develops key workflow applications supporting our core linguistic business building on a low code platform and integrating into numerous other applications. The team are currently involved in a number of key transformation programmes critical to the future strategy of the company. You will become part of our agile development team, working in sprints and closely collaborating with our operational business colleagues to ensure we deliver solutions aligned to their needs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in business analysis roles or alternatively an operational role within the localization industry leading to good understanding of core localization workflows
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written in English) and exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Attention to detail while creating deliverables
  • Strong team player with ability to work as part of a distributed global team
  • Must be organized, able to manage priorities and to work unsupervised
  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting Business Requirements and processes
  • Understanding of the agile software delivery lifecycle and stakeholder relationship management
  • Proven experience of working with workflow or low-code technologies would be beneficial
  • Ideally experience with BPMN modelling notation

Responsibilities:

  • Gain and maintain a detailed understanding of the business workflow processes, data and integrations across key applications
  • Obtain an understanding of relevant business areas, products and services to recommend solutions and provide support / guidance on how to best utilize the solutions
  • Work in close collaboration with project & technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, managed, and delivered successfully
  • Gathering, identifying, and documenting business requirements and processes and facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and expectations
  • Build trusted relationships with management, SME’s, business sponsors and third parties at different levels within the organization
  • Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose streamlined solutions
  • Assist with Functional and User Acceptance Testing and support handover
  • Create use cases, process diagrams and other documents to support requirements
