Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Stowe Australia is seeking interest from a highly motivated, experienced Contract Administrator to be part of our Brisbane Construction Team.
The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual requirements of our commercial construction works and coordinating project schedules.
The “ideal” candidate will come from an Electrical background and bring with them project management and technical expertise that can be built upon within potential, although other backgrounds are welcomed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Business Management Team, primary responsibilities for this position include the following (but not limited to):
- Work closely with the project team to Develop, Maintain, and Manage Commercial and Contractual obligations of our business and projects.
- Maintain proactive and positive relationships with our client, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Be responsible for the administration of construction contracts from initiation to completion including reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
- Reviewing and negotiating of contracts with client and other stakeholders.
- Drafting and revising supplier sub-contracts, including preparing documents for tender and negotiation of purchase agreements with suppliers.
- Assist in resolving contractual issues and disputes in a timely manner.
- Participate in regular project team meetings across multiple projects.
- Ensure that projects are being managed proactively.
- Be responsible for reporting deliverables to the project lead, project team and business managers.
- Assist in preparing all required reports for monthly project report meetings, proactively advise of any new risks, opportunities or changes, and participate in strategic discussion.
