POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales/Marketing Support Coordinator is a flexible resource that is charged with performing support activities to the selling process, pricing administration and product marketing tool development and maintenance. Sales support includes distribution of selling plans to outside sales team, consumables contract facilitation and specific market analysis. Plans, coordinates, and manages the execution of various projects related to pricing support with the product management team, including the active management of the Contact and Indenting (C&I) portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Holds responsibility for parts and consumable pricing – all products (excluding Equipment & Accessories).
  • Analyze market pricing strategies to determine best practices in terms of management and maintenance.
  • Enter pricing for all parts and consumables in SAP, including Customer Specials, retain process documentation and approvals.
  • Administer new part number requests for all parts and consumables.
  • Coordinate product and pricing updates to external resources.
  • Provide sales support and general product management for (C & I) products.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention through emails, surveys, phone calls.
  • Coordinate product launches for small items, or changed items, including publication of product bulletins.
  • Help P/M create sales tools, such as data pages and calculators.
  • Work with P/M on cost management in SAP.
  • Help P/M communicate end of life products and wean obsolete products from product line and inventory.
  • Backup customer service as required (cover phones, enter orders, resolve issues).
