Description:

Would you like to work closely with the business in testing their key controls to ensure robust business processes and keep Danske Bank and its customers out of harm? We are looking for an experienced banking professional with the passion to execute, influence and deliver on a robust controls framework in Danske Bank.
The Business Controls and Product Management (BCPM) department plays a central part in supporting the Business in achieving its strategic goals with reporting lines to the heads of the three business units: Large Corporates & Institutions, Business Customers and Personal Customers.
Controls Management (CM) is an independent 1st LoD control testing unit within BCPM, separate from the control ownership and operation in the business units, with the aim to ensure that controls are designed and operated effectively.
The Financial Risk Testing team in CM support this ambition by ensuring compliance with regulation, internal risk frameworks and credit policies.

You might have experience as an advisor or credit consultant working with either Business Customers or have worked with controlling and/or reporting in the past. You are a strong communicator, where you are conscious of the value of your work and are skilled at targeting your communication towards your audience to achieve the best results. You also bring to the role:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience related to financial risk management
  • Knowledge of financial products, processes, or other relevant experience.
  • A relevant university degree or other educational background
  • Proficiency in Danish and English

Responsibilities:

As a credit controller for Business Customer in Financial Risk Testing, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling credit risks related to credit activities in our business customers segment DK, and you will be an important contributor to the team and our development priorities in terms of creating efficient processes. Your tasks will include:

  • Perform controlling of credit cases from the business units in DK
  • Perform control testing of the credit process according to the planned annual Book-of-Work
  • Gather findings to relevant reports and dashboards, identifying both specific and structural issues and supporting the work to find solutions to strengthen our credit risk cultur
