BU Banking : Business Unit Banking is responsible for the product, services, operation of Rakuten Europe Bank. Our task includes market analysis, building new product concepts, introducing them to the market, acquire the partners, managing client relationship, managing day-to-day portfolio performance as well as the operation of the existing products.
Tasks and responsibilities
As a team member of the BU Banking, you will be supporting the operation of the credit risk management of the products and services that REB provides to the clients, and support the team through the solid analysis, and ensure to implement best practices in the market.
As a credit risk manager locating at our Luxembourg head office, you will be managing the performance of the local market and supporting local credit risk managers to perform the tasks aligned with our corporate credit policy. You will coordinate and communicate with the internal stakeholders to fulfill internal as well as regulatory requirements for the credit risk business.
Your responsibilities and tasks include :
- Support a local credit risk team to designing the credit risk management process for each partner to optimize the performance.
- Documenting the credit risk management process and policy
- Conduct rigorous data analysis on credit risk, optimizing the risk algorithm to improve the risk engine
- Support accounting and transaction operation team for reconciliation and settlement
- Support the compliance and banking corporate risk team to ensure the risk as well as compliance policies are in line in the credit risk operation
- Reporting to the internal risk team for the regulatory required analysis and performance of the portfolio
Your qualifications:
- Studies in IT, economy (IT knowledge is plus) or Finance
- Strong data analytical skills and advanced analytics in database management tools and SQL are plus
- At least 5 years work experience in credit risk management or related field.
- Good finance and Accounting knowledge
- Be interested in Fintech, lending market, Embedded Finance, big data
- High engagement and motivation
- Good communication skills
- Hands-on attitude to tackle and solve the issues by initiatives
