Description:

As a Data Analyst, you will work with Great Southern Bank data to provide insights, reporting and visualisations to meet business needs. You will take the lead on specific tasks, understanding, querying and profiling data and contributing to the delivery of key Enterprise Data initiatives.
Working with stakeholders, you will understand the problems the business is trying to solve and help identify opportunities to improve the business outcomes by recommending data solutions.
We are open to candidates based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. You will have the flexibility to work from home two days per week and will be required in our CBD office for three days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Great Southern Bank data to deliver data solutions and outcomes in support of Enterprise Data initiatives
  • Help design and build engaging visualisations so the business can make informed, data driven decisions
  • Pro-actively investigate and apply new techniques to solve complex data problems
  • Conduct analysis or build data products to help your stakeholders solve problems through data
  • Provide requirements and findings to data engineers to help map, validate, and document data transformation between data layers, and perform user acceptance testing on the data products
  • Identify, capture and report data gaps, quality issues and potential issues that require further exploration
