Cortica is looking for a Data Engineer to join its growing multi-disciplinary team!

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with financial data analysts to build complex data models and data pipelines from health and business operations data utilizing Python, Airflow, MS SQL, Snowflake, and AWS
  • Work on the data pipeline platform to enable Analytics and Data Science team members to build reliable data models and supporting pipelines quickly and efficiently
  • Data modeling using Kimball methodology to support financial and operational analytics
  • Consistently evolve data model & data schema based on business and engineering requirements
  • Deliver data that will drive business decisions and improve quality of care
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements from a variety of data sources to the AWS Data Lake
  • Support analytics teams with their development in Power BI
  • Work with IT team to ensure data is secure and programming processes support security of Cortica’s data
  • Pitch in with IT colleagues in rolling out new systems and technology initiatives to the enterprise
  • Work with stakeholders and various teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You possess a bachelor’s degree.
  • You have 2+ years of experience working with Data Warehouse ETL and building out data pipelines.
  • You have excellent communication skills to collaborate with partners in IT, data science, and Finance.
  • You have experience with Python programming for the purpose of ETL.
  • You possess a deep knowledge of Kimball Data Modeling.
  • You possess a deep knowledge of SQL.
  • You have experience with Cloud data such as AWS or Azure big data offerings.
  • You have an understanding and experience building Power BI data models and reports.
