This Data Entry Clerk role is based in London reporting into the Director of Evaluate Energy. The successful candidate will help support and drive our industry leading research efforts. He/she will deliver accurate, high-quality work with a focus on data management and quality control processes. This is a key role and excellent opportunity where the analyst will be fully integrated from the outset; understanding and providing both data solutions and value-added insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration: Collect information from a variety of sources and accurately update spreadsheets to upload into a database.
  • Research & Analysis: Analyse company and industry filings and reports, identifying key themes and extracting data and insights across the energy sector.
  • Offshore Data Management: Work with offshore teams to ensure the cleansing and updating of databases to the highest standards. Carry out remote and onsite training to offshore teams. Carry out quality control/assurance of data collected.
  • Process Management: Responsible for the daily upkeep and delivery, as well as improvement of data-orientated baseload content. Designing and implementing quality control systems and processes for existing and new data management processes.
  • Product Development: Support the development of new market intelligence to embed in existing market intelligence solutions and to leverage for bespoke analysis. Support other product/project initiatives on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Communication: Effective communication with an international team and client base to ensure the product and all developments are quality assured and in line with company strategic priorities. Provide analytical support for the sales and client-support teams in financial related projects and queries.
