Our client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Demand Planner to join their team. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in forecasting product demand, optimising inventory levels, and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our growing business.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics, in a retail, wholesale or e-commerce environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with demand planning software is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product categories using historical data, market trends, and sales insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations to gather relevant data and insights to inform demand forecasts.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyse inventory performance to identify opportunities for optimisation and cost reduction.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of inventory and minimise stockouts.
- Continuously improve demand planning processes and systems to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports on demand forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and key metrics to stakeholders.
