The Role
We are looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Southport where you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team.

The Responsibilities

  • Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
  • Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
  • Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
  • Advising patients of care
  • Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
  • Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Answering telephone calls and enquiries
  • Booking in patients
  • Administration support

The Successful Candidates

  • Have previous chairside dental experience preferred
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
  • Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred
