Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Perform ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards.
Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of various anatomical structures.
Analyze images to ensure diagnostic quality and accuracy.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort during examinations.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Diagnostic Radiographer with a specialization in ultrasound.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, preferably in a clinical setting.
Between 1 - 3 Year
