Description:
PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Digital Graphic Desighner based in Westport, Ireland. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5,300 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130+ countries and 11 Global warehouses in UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, UAE, USA and Australia. We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-5 years industry experience
- Great knowledge of ADOBE Creative Cloud apps – in particular After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good knowledge of design techniques: brainstorming, concepts, proofing & feedback
- Strong communication skills
- Creative flairand a keen eye for detail meticulous organisational skills
- Pitching creative concepts
- Proactive with an efficient approach to heavy workloads
- Positive attitude and growth mindset
- Familiarity with 3D software and animation
- Experience with a variety of formats (Print, display ads, HTML5)
- Experience localizing assets for different markets
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Digital Graphic Designer, you will provide support in the form of editing existing templates and working on image and asset processing. In addition, you will gain valuable experience working as part of a dynamic multi-disciplined team, working on multi-language campaigns and exporting print and digital content to the highest level. This position is a full-time position. Among your key responsibilities will include:
- Report to Graphic Studio Manager
- Update to existing material – Digital newsletters, web banners, web graphics
- Creation of new campaign concepts (asset, hero)
- Creation of new promotional material for Digital
- Editing Video content for social and tradeshows
- Taking ownership of projects, from concept through to completion
- Gathering inspiration / mood boards / proposing new ways for Portwest to interact with our customers
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide cutting edge design proposals for our e-com presence on Amazon and our new B2B website
- Create and manage digital content for Ecom and Website based on briefed projects from Product marketing
- Overview , manage and report on our Digital media hub
- Create multi-regional campaign assets for our campaign team
- Create motion graphics for our social, website and e-com platforms
