Responsibilities:
- reports to the Senior Planning Applications Officer and collaborates with a team of environmental scientists and ecologists
- conducting complex environmental assessments, including field surveys for the preparation of planning applications for Council infrastructure and maintenance projects
- provides technical guidance during construction and monitoring mitigation measures as required by development consent
- conduct comprehensive assessments and identifying areas of ecological concern
- develop and implement restoration plans that prioritise both environmental conservation and community recovery.
