The Post
The successful candidate will work closely with the existing inclusion team to drive forward our inclusion agenda here at Hartland and support colleagues to ensure our inclusive vision is a reality for all students. They will coordinate the provision for whole year groups and deliver outstanding support and intervention to Students of Determination, English Language Learners, and Learning Support Students. Experience and confidence supporting class and subject teachers is a must, to ensure that personalised curriculum adaptation and interventions are in place based on the individual needs of each student.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in partnership with parents and be able to communicate clearly and empathetically, particularly in Individual Education Plan reviews and understand the power of the ‘Team around the Child’ involving outside agencies where appropriate. Passion, drive and someone who truly cares about the students, parents, and staff they will be working with is the candidate we want as part of our Hartland Team.

The successful candidate will be required to have the following:

  • A BEd. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge
  • At least 3 years’ experience of the National Curriculum for England
  • Experience to offer inclusion support across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Be committed to the Hartland Values which can be found on our website
