Description:

TenneT is responsible for connecting Offshore wind to the Onshore Grid and is developing state of the art Offshore Grid Connection Systems (2GW HVDC GCS, Offshore Hubs) and (Onshore) DC Interconnectors to transmit the power further inland. These are all innovative, multi-discplinary, mega-projects which drive the Energy Transition. We are looking for a Finance Project Director (m/f/d) who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for balanced decision making together with Project Director, considering project interest as well as the interests of TenneT as a whole, ensuring all relevant decisions are being made with a true and fair view on the results and risks
  • You work self-reliant in achieving project goals within the boundaries of the project mandate (budget, time plan, milestones) and TenneT’s processes and guidelines
  • Organizing the project team together with the team leaders is our task, with a focus on: Project control, including (liaison to) Regulatory Affairs, Project administration / accounting, through finance project accountant, Procurement (strategic and operational), Contract management, Claim management, Risk Management
  • Delivering agreed-on project results to the Project Steering Group (PSG) is your responsibility, as well as initiating and approving procurement activities, participation in contract negotiations
  • You divide the project into sub-projects and work packages and provide detailed budgeting, while coordinating all contract partners and supporting departments involved in the project
  • You ensure compliance with laws and company guidelines/policies (e.g. Code of Conduct, Power of Attorney, Corp. Inv. Manual), completeness of project documentation for regulatory audits at any point in tim
