Description:

If you’ve always wanted to work in the Manufacturing industry, Robert Half is hiring a devoted Financial Analyst to join a fast-growing company. In this position, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as have responsibility for measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additionally, you will advise management on the allocation of resources to properly complete objectives and prepare reports for management. You will be a part of a dynamic team being a key business partner in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Located in the Brookfield, Wisconsin, area, this Financial Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity. We seek someone who has internal drive and strong potential for professional growth and development.

How you will make an impact

  • Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations
  • Work next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
  • Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
  • Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
  • Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
  • Discover the root causes of internal and external facts that are influencing performance and outcomes
  • This position would best fit a flexible individual who has experience managing expectations and feels comfortable working with a large amount of information
  • Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
  • Work closely with business partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
  • Edit and manage forecasting reports
  • Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
  • Expertise in VLOOKUP
  • SAP experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Financial Forecast experience highly desired
  • Proven knowledge of budget management
  • Well-founded grasp of budget forecasting
  • General familiarity with Sales Support
  • Practical knowledge of customer service
  • Foundational knowledge in financial analysis
  • Quality experience with Freight Costs
  • Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
  • Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
  • Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
  • Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
