We are currently looking for a Financial Controller for APAC & Middle East, preferably with travel industry experience. Are you a Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA), commercially minded, articulate individual who can use your skills to ensure the successful financial oversight of a region covering Asia Pacific, the Middle East & India. Reporting to the Global Finance Director, this is a maternity cover role for 12 months (ideally commencing in May 2024). Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Global Director of Finance, the Financial Controller – APAC & ME will be a responsible for overseeing the Finance team in region (a team of 3, based in AU and 2 direct reports and a team of 7 in IN) that will help support the growth and development of the business globally and work on projects like IPO planning. The role provides an exciting opportunity to be instrumental to the strategic direction of the company, working across the entire organisation interacting with Senior Management as well as Operations, Account Management, Sales and Finance. The regional remit of this role covers Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, India and the Global
Shared Service Centre for the Finance function. This is a hands on role that requires a motivated and focused leader looking to contribute to the business holistically.
