Jorgensen Associates, Inc is a professional engineering firm established 50 years ago in Jackson, Wyoming, with offices in Pinedale, Kemmerer, and Alpine Wyoming. We are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team, in our Jackson, Pinedale, Kemmerer or Alpine office. This is not a remote position.
The Geotechnical Project Engineer will be involved in the application of conventional aspects of geotechnical engineering. The Project Engineer will provide high-quality technical design and consulting for geotechnical projects, as well as provide technical oversight and assistance to less experienced staff. The Project Engineer will assist Project Managers with the planning, scheduling, and execution of geotechnical work.

REQUIREMENTS

Required: Applicant must be a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Wyoming or have the qualifications to apply for professional licensure in the State of Wyoming. Demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering analyses, calculations, design, and consulting. A demonstrated ability to understand geotechnical project requirements and execute the necessary tasks to accomplish a defined scope of work. Possession of a valid driver’s license required.
Skills/Abilities: Applicants must exhibit a strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering design. Must have excellent judgment and communication skills. Requires well-developed organizational and communication skills and the ability communicate project requirements to team members and perform the completion of the project requirements. Ability to understand essential engineering principles and practices. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public
