WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

We are looking for a forward-thinking Head of Finance to drive the transformation of our finance function, with a key focus on delivering timely and accurate data to inform business decisions. You will have the opportunity to lead a talented finance team through exciting changes to systems, processes and culture in a truly unique and fast-paced industry.
The Head of Finance will form an important part of Blexr’s Leadership Team, reporting into our CEO & Founder and playing a key role in business decisions, influencing strategy. You will lead all finance-related activity across the group, balancing both strategic and hands-on elements of finance as needed. We are looking for someone with a real depth of experience that allows them to roll up their sleeves and dive into the detail when required.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the financial reporting and compliance of the whole group, presenting results and strategic insights to the executive and wider leadership teams.
  • As the Finance Team Leader, you will drive the transformation of the function, striving to create an efficient and scalable finance function to support Blexr’s growth.
  • You will identify opportunities to optimise and improve the tools, processes and systems, owning the implementation and adoption of changes.
  • You will ensure the finance team act as trusted partners to the wider business, with a focus on relationship building and establishing key partnerships with functions such as commercial and marketing.
  • You will be responsible for financial reporting and forecasting scenarios in collaboration with commercial teams - monthly, quarterly and yearly.
  • You will oversee General Accounting, Revenue collection, FP&A and payroll, as well as cash flow and treasury affairs within the company.
  • You will work with Commercial to establish a clear revenue collection process, reduce bad debts and improve reporting accuracy.
  • You will actively create integrated working relationships with adjacent teams such as People, IT, Operations and Commercial as well as managing third party relationships with auditors, payroll, local directors and legal specialists.
