Compass Associates are proud to be partnered with a leading care group across England and Scotland, who provide both nursing and residential homes to our elderly population. This role will join a care home currently performing well, with impressive CI ratings and a strong staff team.
The home itself is a large bedded care home providing a mix of dementia and nursing care, therefore requires either a nurse qualified manager or a manager with experience of successfully managing a nursing service. The home holds a good reputation across the local community, has strong links with external stakeholders, but the provider is looking for a hands-on manager to enhance this.
The manager will be approachable, person-centered, and business savvy. They’ll be able to grow relationships and look for ways to develop the service further, actively involving staff and the residents in this process. Audits and compliance will be another key area of focus in the successful daily running.
The role is commutable from: Edinburgh, Leith, Blackford, Gogar, Dalmeny, Bo’ness, Linlithgow, Bathgate, West Calder, Musselburgh and Dalkeith.
To be considered for the role, you’ll be an experienced manager within a nursing care home and have strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate regulations. You’ll work collaboratively with the provider and the local authority, encouraging staff development and maintaining high-quality resident care.
