WHAT YOU WILL BRING (REQUIREMENTS)

  • Tertiary Qualification in HR/IR or related business discipline.
  • 3 or more years proven experience as a Senior HR Advisor/Generalist, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine focus to build and maintain meaningful relationships.
  • Well-developed skills in the administration and management of HRIS systems.
  • Proficient knowledge of HR functions (within a not-for-profit organisation is high regarded).
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to navigate complex HR situations with professionalism and tact.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to obtain National Police Check and First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Right to work in Australia.

In this dynamic role, you will adopt a collaborative business partnering approach that provides comprehensive support to managers and employees throughout their employment life cycle. It is paramount to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships by establishing a reputation as a trusted advisor and business partner. This involves offering strategic, advisory, and operational support that ensures alignment with our organisational goals and values while promoting continuous improvement, diversity, and inclusion.
A key aspect of this role is to provide quality guidance and support to executive management and employees that interprets and adheres to relevant industrial instruments, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will deliver relevant HR data and analytics to support crucial decision-making processes to continuously foster organisational effectiveness and performance. In contribution to this, you will coach and support managers and employees through individualised leadership and management plans.
Furthermore, you will manage and drive critical HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance, and offboarding underscores to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction and engagement is maintained at a high standard. This involves overseeing various aspects of the employment journey. In addition, you will continuously review and develop HR policies and practices that align with relevant legislative requirements and best practices to contribute to the organisation’s success and growth.
