Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Human Resources support and services through liaising with key stakeholders to understand their current and future needs. In this role, you will be provided a unique chance to strategies the best approach to deliver on HR needs and continually make improvements to the current processes.
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business. You will be at the forefront of delivering comprehensive recruitment advice, HR support and services that align with the company’s strategic objectives. Your ability to build strong relationships will be crucial in ensuring smooth HR processes are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching and Performance Management: Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Actively engaging with the operations team and being present on the floor to address HR-related issues.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and accreditation requirements and implementing processes and procedures to maintain accreditation.
- Supervising HR administrative tasks, including payroll, recruitment administration, reference checks, and onboarding, with the assistance of an HR Admin/Payroll team
- Taking the lead in recruitment activities, from advertising job vacancies to conducting interviews, and involving managers in the selection process.
- Keeping up to date with relevant regulations and obligations within HR.
- Overseeing the rostering activities, including scheduling, and ensuring adherence to award interpretation
- Identifying training needs and coordinating training programs for employees, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in a hands on, operational HR role
- Experience in the retail industry is desired, but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience in providing coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment
- Experience with RTW and WHS legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in HR tasks.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
