Description:

As the HR & Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team across various HR, finance and administrative functions. This multifaceted position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.

HR AND EMPLOYEE ADMINISTRATION:

  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
  • Oversee employee contacts and job descriptions.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation sessions and paperwork completion.
  • Handle employee inquiries and serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related matters.
  • Manage employee schedules and oversee any adjustments during the season.
  • Supervise the Workplace Health & Safety Program. Administer WorkSafe BC reporting.
  • Administer employee benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in HR administration, payroll administration, and accounts payable.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, payroll processes, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with payroll and accounting software.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with employees and vendors professionally.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
